What Are Spiritual Trifectas You Can Bet On?

In horse racing, a trifecta is a bet placed on a horse race in which the bettor must predict which horses will finish first, second, and third, in the exact order.

In life, especially in your spiritual life, there are "trifectas", 3"s that have special meaning. In fact, the number 3 represents completeness, wholeness, resurrection, and harmony in the Bible.

For example, the Holy Trinity is represented by 3 entities, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Also, words and phrases repeated 3 times are often important and carry significant spiritual meaning.

And there's more.

Jesus answered Satan’s three temptations with three scriptural references (Matthew 4:1-11).

Jesus’ ministry lasted three years.

Peter denied Jesus three times (Luke 22:54-62), and three times Jesus affirmed his love (John 21:15-17).

Jesus rose on the third day (Luke 24:7).

Noah had three sons (Gen. 6:10).

Three visitors appeared to Abraham (Genesis 18:2).

Jonah was inside the belly of the fish three days and nights (Jonah 1:17).

There are three main patriarchs in the Old Testament — Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Jesus’ ministry on Earth lasted three years.

Also, consider these phrases:

Live, laugh, and love

Faith, hope, and charity

Knowing, loving, and serving God

Eat, pray, love

What are your favorite spiritual trifectas, ones you can always bet on?

Can you think of more spiritual trifectas?
